Sophia River is a minor feeder into Lake Mackintosh and the supply for the Mackintosh Power Station on the West Coast of the Australian State of Tasmania. It joins the lake on the east side, near the south end. Nearby Sophia Peak and Sophia Street in the town of Tullah share names with it, as does Sophia Point, near the town of Strahan.
